Dutch Hollow members and customers include golfers from Auburn, Camillus, Marcellus, Manlius, Moravia, Skaneateles, and Syracuse. An expanded members' tournament schedule has been well received featuring Captain and Crew, Best Ball, and Scotch formats.
Our weekly Couples Friday night get together offers an opportunity for couples to meet and enjoy an evening of fine golf and fine dining. Dutch Hollow also has a full service bar, and restaurant facilities. We can host parties as well as serve golfers and outings.
Designed by Wilfred S. Hall, whose credits include Oswego, Thendara, and Sodus, the Golf course measures 6,500 yards from the blue tees and plays to a par 71, with a slope rating of 120.
With an irrigation system covering each green, tee, and fairway, the course is maintained at a very high standard of quality and provides an enjoyable test for every level of Golfing skill.

Having played a number of golf courses in New York State I am always amazed at the quality of the greens at almost every course. The greens at Dutch Hollow did not disappoint as they were superbly conditioned. The greens were almost all circular, of average size, and slightly domed. The dome shape should provide good drainage after a rain. The greens also play a bit smaller than their size as a ball within a yard of the fringe will often roll off the putting surface. Contours were barely visible but often a green sloped entirely in one direction. If you are unable to read the slope of a green at Dutch Hollow you can easily be looking at a lengthy second putt.
Mature trees border many of the fairways and are more notable on the front nine. Water is also more visible on the front coming in to play on 8 of the first 9 holes and on 12 holes for the entire layout.
My favourite holes include the par 3 14th, a slightly uphill shot and also the shortest hole on the course. The par 5 15th is the longest hole and with its spacious fairway you should be playing your second shot from the fairway. The 17th is a nice par 4 that feels like the green is enclosed by trees.
There are fewer bunkers on the course than there are holes and their lips are more level with the surrounding grass. This provides more options for escaping these hazards.
The finishing hole is a mild par 4 that cries for a little more excitement. Tipping in at only 328 yards from the Whites this hole could possibly be reached from the tee.
The rates at Dutch Hollow are well below the pricing of similar quality courses in my home area and I would gladly be a regular visitor to this course.
