Les Îles is a standout for its unusual setting and breathtaking panorama. Its 18-hole course lies in the heart of nature in the Parc national des Îles-de-Boucherville.
The course, designed by none other than Graham Cooke, has left more than one person slack-jawed with amazement. Don't believe the easy allure of the grounds, a relatively compact 5,720 yards. The hazards that protect the greens are implacable. Aside from the ubiquitous sand pits, water adds to the decor on a dozen holes. And when there's golf next to a river, wind isn't far behind—highly appreciated on days of intense heat.

Nice conditioned greens and good size, but not a lot of contours. Standard pin placement throughout the day as there was a tournament going on.
Open links style course with nice wide fairways throughout. Course was quite windy at times increasing the fun factor as I'm not a big links style type guy.
Tees were in great shape, good size, good condition.
Cool design as it sits on its own island. Lot's of water and lots of hazards, but still a links course...
Decent price considering you have to take a boat across the creek to get to the first tee. This makes the course quite unique. Even as a links course I would like to try it without the wind but that's probably just a dream.
A tough course with the wind and the hazards, but I feel it would be a lot easier if the wind wasn't a factor. Like anywhere else, keep it in the fairway and you'll be fine.
Excellent scenery as its on a island and all, in the middle of Montreal, yet you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. Quite impressive.
Great service, great atmosphere, and very friendly people.
Nice big clubhouse with lots of space and an amazing view of nature. Clean, organized, with a large paved parking lot. The lane way going in must be 2 or 3 miles long. Somebody owns a lot of land.
Can be quite windy at times but that just makes the course better to play. Typical scorecard layout, with good directions from one hole to the next.
The boat you have to take just to get to the first hole - impressive.
I had a good day and I would recommend you try Club de Golf des Iles at least once if you get the opportunity.
