Standing at the tee box, looking down the flat open fairway, you take notice of the glimmering pond on the right and the taunting sand bunker on the left. Breathing in the fresh seaway valley air on a warm sunny day, you think to yourself, "yeah, this is why I golf."
Two well-planned par 72, 18 hole courses offers you a great variety of terrain elements from challenging sand bunkers and ponds to beautiful wooded fairways and large greens. Along with our driving range and practice green, we're well equipped to welcome golfers from all skill levels, beginner right to the very experienced.

The greens are average speed and thank goodness for that. Considering the slope on many of the greens it would be very difficult to keep a missed downhill putt on the dance floor. Greens in very good shape.
Nice shape to fairways. Still appears to be a few minor blemishes on a few holes. Narrow fairways on short par 4s and wider on longer holes. A good mix.
Finally a course that treats a woman as an equal. Al too often I see benches, signage, and ball washers only located at the Men's tees. Summerheights provides a double set of everything at each hole when necessary.
South course makes maximum use of the creek when wanders through many holes at just the right trouble points.
I'd have to say the signature hole is the par 3 16th.
Not a lot of elevation so it's an easy walk.
Any hazards tend to be near the greens. I can't recall any fairway bunkers.
A fair price for a two course selection.
A good course design for an average golfer. On most holes you should be able to find your ball even if you're off the fairway.
The South is rated a bit more difficult then the West.
Located on the north side of Cornwall, Summerheights is located near enough to the City but not near any residential area.
Course is neat and cleared underbrush around treed areas made finding a ball easy.
Beautiful willow near the clubhouse on hole #9.
    Encouraging and helpful.
No beverage cart seen, but there is a halfway house on the back nine that is positioned between the South and West courses.
The clubhouse sits in a central location.
The drive in to the clubhouse is paved but the parking lot is not. Driveway is bordered by tall trees which should protect from most stray balls.
Dining and bar is upstairs which may make it difficult for some patrons. Pro Shop and change rooms are on the main floor.
Two scorecards, one for each 18 hole course.
I only had to use the scorecard once for directions but that was more to find whether an alternate route could be taken to the South course 17th tee.
Summerheights was a nice layout for myself and my wife. My wife was most impressed with the signage, ball washers, and benches around her tees.
We'll be back to play the West course!
