Huge, spacious greens in very good shape.
Hole #6 and #16 share a massively long green. You'll never over hit this sucker from the #6 tee.
Fairways in good shape. A bit wet, but that's to be expected considering the amount of rain the area has had this season.
Stakes in the middle of the fairway for the 200, 150, and 100 yardage with extra stakes at the side of the fairway for the 150.
Yardage from tees can be a bit confusing at times.
Tees are decent shape but there looks to be a few extra tee blocks and colourings for some tee sets.
A nice layout with a few tricky holes.
Holes #16 and #17 are decent length par 5s that really make it tough to reach the green in 2.
The finishing holes is a sharp dogleg right but requires a good, long tee shot to put yourself in good position. Short hitters will have a tough time with this hole.
    I was awesome on the 6 par 3s scoring a -2 combined; 4 pars, 2 birdies.
This course can easily be walked.
I paid $30 for a pleasant round of golf.
Membership at La Cite is about $500 less than the Hawkesbury Golf & Curling Club.
Members informed me that the owner was always doing some work to make things better and I observed this in a few places throughout my round.
The course plays a lot easier then its rating. The member I played with informed of this at the start of our round. They proved to be right as my score was about 5 strokes less than normal.
La Cite is a clean, well kept course.
It's too bad there has to be a fence along the right hand side fairway of hole #11.
The ponds are quite clean and don't appear to have chemicals added to prevent you from finding a ball.
Staff seemed to have a little to say but always acknowledged your presence with a nod of the head.
Modern and clean clubhouse. Not overly large but adequate for the course location.
Parking lot was also an adequate size.
The scorecard dearly needs a course layout.
Signage was missing between holes #7 and #8 and I would have been completely lost if it wasn't for playing with members.
La Cite was a pleasant surprise. From fellow golfers I was lead to believe that the course was on the short side, well under 6,000 yards. I played the whites at 5,741 yards and a par 70. Very acceptable.
