Ontario golf fans get into spring early as the Toronto Golf & Travel Show tees off its 23rd year, March 2 to 4 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Welcoming back golf industry expert, Golf Town, along with a number of exhibitors featuring golf equipment, golf courses, travel options, demonstrations and onsite lessons, the Golf Show is the ultimate pre-season destination for lovers of the game.

Canada’s largest golf show and Golf Town, the number one golf retailer in Canada, will partner up again for 2012 to provide golf enthusiasts with the ultimate pre-season golf experience. Golf Town will have an onsite retail store where consumers can get expert advice and purchase golf equipment and apparel. Golf Town will also feature onsite demonstrations, the Golf Town demo range, interviews with golf celebrities and a $1,500 giveaway.

The Toronto Golf Show gives visitors the opportunity to test a number of leading manufacturers’ equipment at the large indoor driving range. The 2012 Golf Town Test Range offers a number of top golf club manufacturers, including equipment from Taylor Made, Callaway, Cleveland, Cobra, Mizuno, Wilson Staff, Ping, and Nike.

Golf enthusiasts and new beginners can connect with experts at the Teaching and Demo Arena to learn tips and techniques to help improve their game. Featured guests in the Arena include: The Golf Channel’s Michael Breed of The Golf Fix, and the Golf Channel’s Lauren Thompson. In addition, golfers of all experience levels can get instruction and tips with lessons from Ontario PGA professionals, tailored to each individual, on the OPGA Range.

Golfers looking to book their next trip can visit with exhibitors from a large variety of travel destinations, including Bermuda, Morocco, Puerto Rico, Turks & Caicos, Spain, Virginia, Myrtle Beach, courses from across Canada, and many more.
The Play Golf Ontario Pavilion features golf courses from all across Ontario, giving consumers lots of local playing options. Consumers can pre-register online for one of 5,000 rounds of Ontario golf being given away on a first come, first served basis from Play Golf Ontario and UME Golf.

Event Details:
The Golf & Travel Show takes place in the North Building of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on Friday March 2 from Noon until 7:00 p.m., Saturday March 3 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday March 4 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased onsite or at the door. General admission to the show is $15. Seniors (65 and over) and students (13-17) are $11, kids 12 and under are free. Anyone visiting the Show after 2pm on Sunday can purchase the Twilight Rate at the door for $8.
